Youth Voice public submissions
Public Submissions are now open from Monday 14 April 2025 until Friday 23 May 2025.
SNAICC – National Voice for our Children invites Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, Youth Advisory Groups, youth networks, communities, community-controlled organisations and services to help design the SNAICC Youth Voice mechanism by making a submission.
The Youth Voice public submissions process will inform the design of a representative, community-led mechanism that reflects the voices, priorities and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people. The process includes a set of optional questions to guide your submission. These questions are designed to deepen our understanding of the needs and priorities for a SNAICC Youth Voice, drawing on the perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, communities, community-controlled organisations and services. They can help you explore issues, solutions and experiences that are important for the design, purpose and structure of the Youth Voice.
You’re welcome to respond in writing or upload your ideas in other formats such as audio, video or artwork. Submissions will be used solely for the Youth Voice initiative and handled with care. SNAICC will protect your privacy and keep all personal information secure and confidential. Contributions will only be shared with those directly involved in developing the mechanism. Insights from the submissions process will be shared in an Outcomes Report later in 2025.
Your voice can shape the future of SNAICC’s Youth Voice. Explore the questions, share your ideas and contribute in a way that works for you.
We want to hear from you. What matters most in your community? What needs to change—and how can we make that change together?
Make your submission and help build a strong Youth Voice.
